NFTE's global headquarters based in New York City is seeking an intern for its Development department.

This position goes from January-May 2012 and is a 15-20 hour a week part-time internship. It is an unpaid, non-exempt position that reports to the Development Associate and the Database Manager. The specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Updates and changes to records in Raiser’s Edge database.
  • Conduct research on individual, foundation and corporate prospects.
  • Maintaining and filing information on current donors.
  • Assist Development Associate with miscellaneous projects.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented.

Preferred

  • Experience working with Raiser’s Edge or other donor database.
  • Be an innovative and creative thinker.
