NFTE's global headquarters based in New York City is seeking an intern for its Marketing and Development department.

Projects

Solely, or in groups, the projects listed below are among those that we seek intern support to execute.

  • New funding prospects are the lifeblood of any nonprofit.  In depth research is needed to match new prospects to NFTE opportunities.  Research would be conducted against a number of variables including industry, geography, social issue interest, individual interest and corporate interest.
  • NFTE alumni are one of our most powerful marketing tools.  Our database of alumni needs to be built up across multiple variables.  This includes cataloging data, contacting alumni for updates, and writing compelling narrative profiles to tell the story of select alumni.
  • Annually in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week, NFTE runs a competition called the World Series of Innovation.  This challenge is marketed to all US classrooms and select international markets.  Duties include research on relevant international partners and marketing outreach to teachers and youth serving organizations around the world.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Outstanding writing ability.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Familiarity with internet research.
