“Without financial education, you don’t know how to save money, where to spend it, or how to invest it.”

Alice’s grandfather stressed the importance of financial responsibility from the time she was very young. It has impacted Alice greatly, and she hopes to share what she has learned with others through the Financial Literacy Institute, which will offer fun workshops for young people to learn how to save and invest their money. Alice’s business idea earned her second place in the Bay Area city-wide business plan competition. After graduation she plans to attend either the University of California or New York University.
