Growing up in a low-income family, Fantashia wasn’t sure what she wanted to do with her life. So in 2000, she decided to take a NFTE class at the Alexander Hamilton Middle School in Cleveland. She went on to attend a NFTE/ECity Summer BizCamp, and won recognition for her Dollar Diva business plan. In 2005 Fantashia started Fizzalae Botanical Blends, a company that makes and sells bath and body products for people with sensitive skin just like hers. Fantashia’s future plans include graduating from Jane Addams Business Careers High School as one of the top 50 students in her class, and attending Cornell University for Apparel and Textile Design.
