Kasanah and her business partners Duygu, Karess, Arooj and Maimoonah all have a passion for henna tattoos. And when they were selected to take the NFTE course at the Skinner’s Company’s School for Girls (Business and Enterprise College) and learned how to do market research, they discovered other girls their age were enthusiastic about them too. Henoo, creates a wide variety of henna tattoos, and so far the girls have sold close to 300 of them during breaks and after school. They say the best thing about having their own business is that they’ve learned how to work together as a team, make important decisions, solve problems, and take risks.
