Shardell is no stranger to accomplishment – in the 10th grade she joined her high school track team and gave it her all, keeping up with her state champion teammate and impressing her coach. Shardell applied that same determination to her NFTE class, creating a business plan for a company called Choices Software Enterprises, which would produce a game design to help lower Baltimore’s homicide rate and assist teens in making good decisions. Shardell plans to attend the University of Baltimore.
