For Warda, cricket has always been a family sport. Her uncles had always told her how difficult it was to get a constant supply of cricket bats, so when Wardi took a NFTE class during her freshman year at Silver Creek High School, the idea for Sure Shot Cricket Gear came easily. Warda won first place in the 2nd Annual Smith Barney/NFTE National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge in October 2007. She plans to start her business in the future, and hope to attend Stanford University or Princeton University after high school.
