NFTE - National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship
Start a NFTE Program

Bring the power of youth entrepreneurship education to your school or community-based organization! If you serve young people in low-income communities, NFTE’s programs could help your students improve their academic, business, technology and life skills.

The NFTE curriculum has editions for high school, middle school, and advanced students (adults 18-30). Teacher training by NFTE is required to become a Certified Entrepreneurship Teacher (CET) and be part of a NFTE program.

Most CETs use involving, exciting experiences for their students to bring business concepts alive, such as a field trip to a wholesale district followed by a “selling event” at the school or organization, and business plan competitions.

  • Is there a NFTE program office in your area? Contact it to get started.
  • Are you an established nonprofit/charitable organization, educational institution, community-based organization, or government agency? You may qualify to become a NFTE licensed partner.
