Once educators complete NFTE U they are certified NFTE teachers and have access to on-going support services, international awards and alumni services for their students, including:
Online Teacher Community - NFTE’s teacher website offers new program resources and lists professional development and awards opportunities. Teachers can readily access information, tips and guidance on how to conduct and improve their NFTE classes. Student grant forms and business plan scoring rubrics may be downloaded to make program management tasks easier. Visit CET Community website
NFTE E-Learning Workshops - These 90-minute web-casts focus on experiential learning activities that provide teachers with tools to enhance their teaching of NFTE, allow them to connect with other educators to share best practices and offer any additional help they may need.
Professional Development Seminars - NFTE coaches teachers, provides lesson plans and management tools, and encourages collaboration between instructors to address challenges and share successes. Topics range from implementing experiential lessons plans to engaging volunteers from the corporate community in the NFTE classroom.
Advanced Teacher Forum (ATF) - This five-day seminar provides advanced professional development for NFTE-trained teachers. The ATF helps teachers hone their skills through advanced concept instruction and provides them with the opportunity to exchange best practices with their peers. Guest lecturers, including entrepreneurs, nationally recognized businesspeople, and experienced professors, give teachers insight into real-life applications of entrepreneurship education and cutting-edge educational research.
