NFTE + Sam’s Club = $250K

April was Giving Made Simple month at Sam’s Club, and NFTE was fortunate to be chosen as one of a handful of charities to compete in a member voting initiative and win $250,000 to support our work!

A highlight of the campaign was the in-store event at the Sam’s Club location in Secaucus, New Jersey. Several NFTE alums were joined by Bill Rancic, the winner of the first season of The Apprentice and star of the reality show Bill & Guiliana, and a team from 92.3 NOW as they competed in an Apprentice-style contest to see who could convince the most Sam’s Club members to vote for NFTE. Bill coached them along the way and offered tips for improving their sales techniques.

Bill Rancic and several NFTE alums encouraged Sam's
Club members to Vote NFTE!

Throughout the campaign we had the chance to interact with Sam’s Club members via Facebook and Twitter and share information about how we’re impacting young people in low income communities every day.

Thank you to Sam’s Club and its members for supporting us throughout this campaign! The funds we received will go a long way in helping our young people unlock their potential and chart new courses for their futures!
