NFTE has teamed up with Quantum Learning Network (QLN) to create the SuperBizCamp experience for summer 2012. 

This month, by proclamation of the President of the United States, is National Financial Capability Month, 2012.  In declaring April as National Financial Capability Month, President Obama said:

NFTE is partnering with Starbucks in April to support our educational programs in several cities and states. Your support and votes could help NFTE receive a donation of more than $150,000 from the Starbucks Foundation. That’s a lot of coffee and a ‘Grande’ investment in the future of thousands of young people.

Microsoft, a NFTE supporter and partner, along with the International Youth Foundation today unveiled Opportunity for Action, Preparing Youth for 21^st Century Livelihoods.

Recent data shows that high school graduation rates have improved. But the high school dropout rate in the U.S. still stands at 8.1 percent, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.

What do 5 of the top 10 people on Forbes list of the 400 richest Americans have in common? Their wealth is self-made.  Collectively, the five are worth about $175,000,000,000 (that’s Billion).  Looking at the 5 others reveals that the entrepreneurial spirit runs deep in their families. All together, the top 10 billionaires are worth $291 billion.
