World Series of Innovation

 

  


The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship's World Series of Innovation presented by Microsoft is a fun, experiential classroom activity that allows middle or high school students to think creatively and invent new products that address every-day opportunities.

Groups of at least five middle or high school students and their teachers or program leaders were as led to pick at least one of six innovation challenges and came up with a new, unique, innovative product or service to address that market niche. This year's categories were:

  • Mobile Game Design
  • Mobile App Design
  • Innovative Beverage
     
  • New Franchise Idea
  • Sustainable Style
  • College & Career Readiness
    Products or Services

There was one winning idea chosen for each category. The group responsible for that idea will receive a cash prize to be used towards classroom or program supplies or activities, plus each student will receive an individual prize.
