This past Saturday, NFTE was fortunate to be featured in PBS’s American Graduate Day, joining 15 other organizations in celebrating—and spreading—the power of mentorship.
NFTE extends a huge thanks to our volunteers and supporters for being American Graduate Champions. Their influence inspires students to approach the world with an innovator’s eye and a founder’s grit.
Each year, thousands of business leaders and entrepreneurs coach NFTE students, helping them to develop their first business plans. Hundreds of volunteer judges offer feedback on student presentations. In businesses and classrooms across the nation, volunteer field trip hosts and guest speakers role model the entrepreneurial mindset. Just last summer, American Graduate Day advocate and ABC Shark Daymond John invited NFTE students to spend a day at his coworking space in Manhattan, where they learned about his tactics for turning a $40 budget into FUBU.
