McKinley Park baker and young entrepreneur Kristoffer Chavarria is taking the lead in day-to-day operations at namesake local sweet shop Kristoffer’s Cakes, a neighborhood landmark for 20 years. Chavarria is a graduate of Horizon Science Academy, where he participated in the NFTE program.
