NFTE Teacher, Manny Brito, Honored as Most Valuable Educator

May 7, 2022 | Boston, MA

To culminate Teacher Appreciation Week, Boston Red Sox honored NFTE teacher Manny Brito of Collins Middle School in Salem, MA, as 2022 Most Valuable Educator.

Mr. Brito worked with his principal at Collins Middle School to launch a full-school implementation of NFTE as a three-year entrepreneurship pathway for all 600+ 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

Mr. Brito is a true partner and relational teacher, earning the trust and respect from his learners – walking alongside them on their educational path, laughing with them, challenging them, and ultimately building a relationship in which they can come to him for not only academic questions but social and emotional support as well.
