Headquartered in Shanghai, Be Better was launched in 2009 to empower future generations through economic citizenship education, giving them the skills they need to pursue a better future. NFTE Ireland launched in 2005 to teach entrepreneurship to young people ages 12-18. The program began in Dublin,Belfast and Cork, and recently expanded into Limerick & Donegal. This year, NFTE Ireland reached nearly 1,000 students and currently has 61 active teachers.
Mexico City, Mexico
NFTE was launched in Israel in 2006 through a partnership with Ashalim of the Joint District Community. Programs were launched in 20 schools in January 2008, reaching approximately 460 students per year through 65 active teachers in both Hebrew and Arabic languages.
NFTE Deutschland was established in 2005 with the goal of increasing entrepreneurial knowledge among German secondary school students. Focusing on immigrant and at-risk populations in Germany’s Realschules, NFTE Deutschland reaches more than 1,600 students annually through a corps of 86 teachers.
NFTE Belgium, which was established in 1998, is offered at 20 locations throughout the country, in both French and Flemish languages. The program reaches approximately 350 young people per year through 32 dedicated teachers.
