NFTE Fairchester Staff

Diane Rosenthal, Executive Director, joined the NFTE team in June 2012 and works closely with community leaders, volunteers and staff to ensure high quality program outcomes. Diane has as over 25 years of experience in non-profit management. Prior to joining NFTE FC Diane was the executive director of Literacy Volunteers-Stamford/Greenwich for ten years - the top performing volunteer-based adult education organization in Connecticut. She was the executive director of The New York Public Library’s adult education and literacy program for ten years. Diane earned an MS in education from Fordham University and started her career as a middle school teacher in Yonkers, NY. She has served on the Board of Directors of Neighbors Link Stamford and the Connecticut Association of Adult and Continuing Education and is on the Advisory Council for Latino U College Access.

Robin Altman
, Program Director
, has been part of the NFTE team for five years.  She provides professional development for teachers, works with school district administrators and oversees the full implementation of the NFTE curricula including the business plan coaching and judging sessions. She is responsible for cultivating new opportunities for program expansion. Prior to joining NFTE, Robin was a business conference executive. She holds a Master’s Degree in education, is Montessori certified, and worked as a teacher for five years, including teaching in and managing a Montessori School, grades N-5.
