High School NFTE U – August 5-8, 2014

Champions Dinner - September 18, 2014
NFTE will host an appreciation dinner on September 18 to honor our dedicated teachers and volunteers. Without their hard work, NFTE would not be able to serve over 3,500 students a year. It’s time we give them a round of applause!

Celebrate Our Young Entrepreneurs - October 2, 2014
On May 5, 2014, a panel of distinguished judges selected Karen Bonilla with her business, Lepsy’s App; and Maggie Bodner and Alyssa Herman with their business, Magic No Streak Cloths; as first and second place winners for NFTE’s 8th Annual Regional Business Plan Competition on the main stage at eMerge Americas. On October 2, NFTE will celebrate their success and give them a rousing send-off before they head off to NFTE’s National Competition, October 9 at the Computer History Museum in Silicon Valley.

Innovation Day – Work with students as they develop their submission for the World Series of Innovation (WSI) competition.  WSI is a fun, experiential activity that allows students to think creatively and invent new products or services that address everyday opportunities. This activity will be taking place nationally in more than 20 locations. Look for more information on this activity in October!
